10/21/2005 - DIGITAL DRIVE-IN A SUCCESS!
Thanks to everybody that came out for our "Independent Digital Drive-In Experiment" at the Memphis Drive-in on Thursday October 20. Despite some dreary skies and a slight chill in the air, many carloads of true independent film fans turned out to see our blockbuster line-up of "The Deep Dark Woods: No Witnesses" and Bob Gray Production's "Bigfoot" . Hell, even Sasquatch himself was on hand for the festivities. The event was covered by crews from Channel 19 News, The Sun News , Adelphia Cable and Uttertrash Magazine . Based on reactions from the staff at the drive-in, the audience and the filmmakers, the event was a success and could, hopefully, lead to more opportunities for independent films down the road.
The following noted local personalities lent their support by attending the show: Bill Johns and Andy Schofield of Cinevid Productions, Andy Tubbesing of Odd Dog Productions, Bob Ignizio of "Horror of '59", Ed Mansfield from "The BabyShaker" and Mark Meluch, former bass player for "Saul Glennon". Special thanks to Mr. Charles Cassidy, veteran film critic for many local newspapers, for being in attendance.

8/13/2004 - ED MANSFIELD AND HIS NEW BAND "THE BABY SHAKER" PLAY THEIR FIRST GIG.
The Symposium in Lakewood, Ohio. - Ed and the gang provide many of the special tunes that TwistedSpine.com uses in their projects. Their successful debut was taken in by 91.3 The Summits' DJ Doug of the "Mondo Beyondo" Radio Show . Ed and the band will be featured on the show on Saturday August 28th. They will be talking about their music, their goals and their contribution to all of TwistedSpine.com's films. Of special interest is the theme song "Gobbler'' that was created for TwistedSpine.com's notorious yet-to-be-released feature "The Gobbler". The movie, originally scheduled for release in 2002, was placed into limbo when crucial footage mysteriously disappeared. Recently, this missing footage was recovered from a source that TwistedSpine.com spokesman Ritch Yarber will not identify. Rumor has it that "The Gobbler" may soon be available complete with the haunting theme written by Mansfield over 5 years ago! Listen to "Mondo Beyondo" this Saturday night from midnight to 1:00 AM for the incredibly strange story!
